Cyan is my featured senior of the week this week! Yes, she graduated last Saturday, so I suppose she is officially no longer a senior, but I am running behind with everyone and decided I just had to go into the summer a bit with these guys. I actually ran into her mom at my son’s graduation last weekend. It is so funny when you run into someone who you know, but is not in the “right place,” if that makes sense. I am used to visiting and talking with my clients at the consultation, session etc. However, when you run into them at a location outside of that environment, it makes you have to stop and think…where do I know this person from? Well, with Cyan and her mom, they were easy to remember (fortunately for me,) as I used all of Cyan’s images for a sample product, and I had photographed both her and her mom together during her senior session.
I asked her mom to give me a bit of info on Cyan, and here is what she had to say!
Cyan is interested in Psychology/education and looking at professions in family therapy or private practice after college (at least thus far).
She is a volunteer at the Denver animal shelter, working weekend mornings as an animal care tech (she loves cats in particular).
She has played golf (which she lettered in) as well as basketball throughout high school.
She works afternoons/night at Jax Mercantile and Ranching (she works about 25-30 hrs a week).
She’s an avid reader (loves teen romance right now).
She will be attending college in Boulder (which should help her interest in being outdoors).
I love to see all the individual interests of these kids, they seem so focused on their future, caring, and responsible. Congratulations on your graduation from High School, and your future endeavors!
